Florian Bilbao

was born in 1979 in bordeaux, france. he studied in montpellier (anne-marie porras) and angers (centre national de danse contemporaine), since 2002, he´s working and living in berlin. his work was shown in berlin, leipzig, freiburg, heidelberg and halle. “morgen”, „kostenlos”, “formel 1 ballerinas” and “forced entry trip” was developed in collaboration with actor jörg schiebe; “typp-ex”, “eine aufzählung” and “bei mir” with painter sylvain brugier.

florian bilbao is assisting mathilde monnier during the european tour of “surrogate cities”. He is teaching release technique at various schools and works as the artistic director of the youth company “nucleo 1” of the project TanzZeit with livia patrizi.
