| born in 1972 in naples, italy, studied set design at the naples art academy. longtime set and cosume assistant at berliner ensemble and schaubühne am lehniner platz, berlin. collaboration as costume designer with director wulf twiehaus, at theatres such as schaubühne berlin ("herr kolpert" and "traum in herbst"), krétakör budapest ("das kalte kind" and "kasimir und karoline"), schauspiel leipzig ("explodierende pottwale"), theater konstanz ("herr puntila und sein knecht matti") as well as with mario portmann at staatstheater braunschweig ("verbrennungen"). furthermore set design/ costumes for various short films since 2003 such as dffb production "abhaun!" by christoph wermke (nominated as best german short film 2004). for büro für zeit + raum, silvia albarella designed set and costumes for the productions "wait here for further instructions" and "past is in front of ego" and as well collaborated with director anne hirth for “cielo in costruzione”. >> see also http://www.silviaalbarella.de |
